Phase-1 decisions — Touch of Greene
Scope
Phase 1 is complete, and phase 2 has now added:
- a reviewable Astro implementation in
site/ - preserved review surfaces at
/_styleguide/and/dossier/ - a compact Dutch one-page site structure grounded in the existing sparse source material
- original source-site image reuse inside the implementation
No final production publish or domain cutover was performed.
Meaningful decisions
1) Category mapping
Used other as the formal category and documented reflexology as the nearest archetype for structure/tone.
Reason:
- the business is coaching-led, spiritually framed, and solo-practitioner based;
- massages are explicitly paused;
- the trust-building and emotional tone are closer to reflexology than to massage.
2) Content restraint
Kept the content dossier tightly factual.
Reason:
- the live site is sparse;
- unsupported details would create risk fast in this project;
- several obvious things (location, booking, pricing, qualifications) are simply absent.
3) Brand extraction bias
Derived the palette from the visible green-led live site rather than from generic "tantra/wellness" assumptions.
Reason:
- the skill explicitly warns against category-based visual drift;
- the existing site already has a distinct soft-green identity and a forest portrait that anchor the atmosphere.
4) Typography choice in tokens
Kept the token fonts close to the current site:
- headline: Cantarell
- body: Open Sans
Reason:
- both are actually exposed by the live CSS;
- phase 1 should capture source DNA, not redesign by preference.
5) Visual caution
The styleguide intentionally avoids clichéd tantra/spa imagery cues.
Reason:
- nothing on the live site supports overtly sensual, dark-luxury, or bohemian styling;
- the source brand feels natural, gentle, open, and grounded rather than dramatic.
Distinctiveness notes
- Strongest distinctive cues found: Tanya's first-person voice, the forest portrait, and the muted green palette.
- Weakest area: service specificity. The current site does not yet explain what life coaching or relationship coaching look like in practice.
Phase-2 implementation decisions
6) Keep the site in Dutch
Reason:
- the source site is Dutch;
- no operator instruction asked for translation;
- this avoids inventing a broader audience or service area.
7) Preserve review surfaces inside the implementation
Reason:
/_styleguide/was explicitly called out as a stable review route;/dossier/remains useful because so many business facts are still missing.
8) Use source-site imagery directly
Reason:
- operator instruction preferred original images;
- the forest portrait is the strongest brand asset available;
- replacing it with stock would weaken fidelity and distinctiveness.
9) Keep the implementation intentionally compact
Reason:
- the source content is too sparse for a deep IA without fabrication;
- a one-page brochure with anchored sections is the most honest phase-2 shape right now.
Open questions / blockers before final publish
- What city or region should the site target?
- What is the preferred conversion path: contact form, WhatsApp, email, booking tool?
- Are sessions online, in person, or both?
- What are the prices and durations?
- What language(s) should the public site use long-term?
- Are there credentials, trainings, or experience markers that may be shown?
- How prominently should TantraTribe appear relative to the coaching practice?
- What are the public contact details and business policies (privacy, cancellation, consent)?
2026-08-03 — Regenerated with suite v0.10.1 (draft-first)
- Fresh extraction of the live JouwWeb site (3 pages; prices found on /tarieven: €100/1u, €150/1.5u).
- Tokens from May kept — re-verified identical against the fresh extraction (v1.1.0).
- Copy deck nl rewritten visitor-facing (old draft was meta-descriptive "the source site says…");
Tanya's verbatim self-description kept as the About quote; [TBD:] for contact/format/region.
- site/ rebuilt from the current astro-starter: deck loader, dossier working copy (tokenized path),
404, og.png, llms.txt, ProfessionalService schema (no invented address), self-hosted fonts.
- Deployed to touch-of-greene-v2 (old preview untouched, rule 118).
- Suite findings this run (for specs): phase1 would clobber curated identity.md (guard needed);
local-directories is Swiss-specific (NL needs its own list); old identity format broke the GBP-kit
parser until rewritten in current field conventions.
