Touch of Greene — Styleguide
A solo Dutch coaching practice led by Tanya Greene, blending life coaching, relationship coaching, and tantric/spiritual self-development in a calm, intimate, trust-first atmosphere.
Brand DNA
- Atmosphere: warm, sensitive, natural, open, connective, gently spiritual
- Audience: people looking for 1:1 coaching or relationship coaching who likely need emotional safety and a calm first impression before reaching out
- Inspirations: the current touch-of-greene.nl site, especially Tanya's first-person bio, the forest portrait, and the muted green JouwWeb theme; screenshots/assets live in
brand/inspiration/ - Differentiators: deeply personal voice, explicit emphasis on safety and feeling at ease, relational/spiritual framing rather than generic performance coaching
- Anti-references: not glossy luxury tantra branding, not dark sensual black-and-gold, not generic startup coaching, not feet-on-rocks wellness stock imagery
Voice
- Tone: first-person when Tanya is speaking, warm, personal, unforced, intimate without hype
- Do say: "warm", "open", "oprechte verbinding", "veilig", "op je gemak", "zelfontwikkeling"
- Don't say: miracle language, trauma-healing claims, pseudo-clinical certainty, corporate coaching jargon, invented credentials
- Reading level: plain and human; short paragraphs; emotionally clear rather than technical
Source voice cues
Short verbatim cues from the live site that should anchor future copy tone:
- "Voor nu kan ik mezelf beschrijven als warm, sensitief, verbindend, open en speels."
- "Met mijn sensitiviteit kan ik goed aanvoelen wat je nodig hebt om je veilig en op je gemak te voelen..."
- "...waardoor ik vervolgens makkelijk een mooie en oprechte verbinding met je kan maken."
- "Een vertrouwde ruimte voor de tantra community."

Typography
- Headings: Cantarell, regular weight, clean sans-serif with a soft human feel rather than spa-editorial drama

- Webfont source: current source site CSS exposes Cantarell + Open Sans

- Container: 1120px max width, 24px gutter

- Borders: light green or neutral dividers only where they help structure; avoid heavy card outlines everywhere
- Shadows: minimal; one soft shadow tier is enough

Motion
- Default: subtle, 120–200ms ease-out

Hero
- Use a real image of Tanya or similarly authentic imagery from her world.
- Keep the headline simple and trust-building, not salesy.
- Hero should feel welcoming and personal rather than conversion-optimized in a startup sense.
Nav
- Lightweight, quiet, with minimal items.
- Primary CTA can appear if a real contact/book action exists, but it should not overpower the page.
Section
- Use generous vertical spacing: around 48px on mobile, 64–96px on desktop for main sections.
- Alternate plain background and subtle tinted background sparingly.
Accessibility
- Body text minimum 16px; this brand is comfortable at ~17px.
- Focus state must remain visible.
- Avoid pale green on white for important text.
- Alt text should describe real people and scenes factually.
- Keep paragraphs short and readable.
Anti-patterns specific to this site
- No faux-mystical purple/gold tantra aesthetic.
- No generic clinical coaching website look.
- No generic wellness clichés like stacked stones, lotus symbols, or feet-reflexology stock.
- No making the brand look more credentialed or formal than the source supports.
- No overbuilding the visual system beyond the modest, personal nature of the current business presence.
Phase-1 unresolved decisions
- Public site language: remain Dutch, switch to English, or become bilingual?
- Should the final site foreground "tantra coach" equally, or lead mainly with life/relationship coaching?
- How prominently should TantraTribe appear in the final navigation and homepage?
- Once real contact/booking details exist, decide whether the main CTA should be "Contact", "Plan een kennismaking", or a booking-platform action.
